Where we place pharmacy professionals
We understand that a retail counter, a hospital pharmacy and a long-term care provider pharmacy are very different workplaces.
Community pharmacy
Retail chains, banners and independents. Dispensing, clinical services and vaccinations where the province allows it.
Hospital pharmacy
Inpatient and outpatient dispensing, sterile compounding, ward-based clinical pharmacy and medication reconciliation.
Long-term care pharmacy services
Provider pharmacies that serve long-term care and retirement homes, with blister packing, deliveries and consultant pharmacist work.
Compounding and specialty pharmacy
Sterile and non-sterile compounding, infusion, oncology and other specialty dispensing.
Pharmacy roles we place
Pharmacists
Staff, relief and locum, clinical and clinical lead roles.
Regulated pharmacy technicians
Dispensing, compounding, inventory and automation, with the tasks the province permits.
Pharmacy assistants
A support role, where the setting and province allow it.
Pharmacy managers
Leadership roles for community, hospital and group pharmacies.
Pharmacy manager recruitmentFacility and organization leadership
Administrators and senior leaders who oversee pharmacy services.

Pharmacists and pharmacy technicians are regulated provincially. Moving provinces means registering with the new regulator. National qualifying exams for pharmacists and technicians are run by the Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada. We tell candidates what is needed and employers what to expect.

Pharmacy staffing challenges we hear about
One-pharmacist stores
A vacation, illness or leave can close a counter or cut hours. Relief coverage can be booked ahead.
Longer hours and expanded services
Vaccinations, minor ailment care and medication reviews add workload without adding pharmacist hours.
Technician gaps
Registered technicians let pharmacists spend time on clinical work, but they can be hard to find in smaller markets.
Rural and remote stores
Hard-to-fill locations may need locum blocks, with housing or travel arranged by the employer.
Hospital pharmacy vacancies
Sterile compounding and clinical roles take specialized experience and longer hiring cycles.
Coverage models for pharmacies
Relief shifts
Single days, weekends and holiday coverage.
Locum blocks
One to several weeks, common for vacations and rural coverage.
Part-time and flexible
Evenings, weekends or a set number of days per week.
Permanent placement
Direct hire for staff pharmacists, technicians and managers.

How we are different
We verify registration
We check registration with the regulator before presenting anyone, and we say so. Verification is a check at a point in time, not a guarantee of future conduct or outcomes.
We are open about terms
Fees, terms and conditions are shared up front. Candidates pay nothing. We are paid by the pharmacy.

Pharmacy staffing questions
Do you place pharmacists for short relief shifts?
Yes, where an employer needs coverage for days, weekends or holidays. Availability depends on the province and the market, and we do not promise a specific turnaround. Booking relief ahead of a planned absence gives us the best chance of finding the right fit.
Do pharmacists need to register again if they work in another province?
Yes. Pharmacy is regulated provincially, so a pharmacist or technician needs registration with the regulator in the province where they practise. We help candidates understand the steps, and we tell employers what to expect before a candidate starts.
Can you help find a pharmacy technician?
Yes. We look for regulated technicians, and for pharmacy assistants where the employer uses them. Scope of practice differs by province, so we confirm what the role requires with the employer before we begin searching for candidates.
Do you work with independent pharmacies or only big chains?
Both. A single-store owner and a multi-store group have different needs, so we scope each request to fit. That might be one relief week for an independent or an ongoing arrangement across several locations.
Does it cost pharmacists anything to use your service?
No. Our service is free for candidates. Always. Pharmacies pay fees, which are agreed in writing before work begins. You will not be asked to pay to submit a profile, to be considered for a role or to be placed.
