1. Who we are and accepting these terms

This website, HealthcareRecruitment.ca, is operated by Reach Networks Inc. ("we", "us", "our"), a company headquartered in British Columbia, Canada. By using this website, submitting a form or uploading a resume, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. You must be at least the age of majority in your province or territory to submit a profile or request. If you use the site for a company, you confirm you have authority to act for it.

2. What we do

We are a recruitment and staffing business that connects healthcare professionals with healthcare facilities in Canada and, for some roles, in the United States. Information on this site is general information only. It is not medical, legal, immigration, tax or employment advice. Please get advice from a qualified professional about your own situation. We do not currently place in Quebec.

3. For candidates

Free of charge. We do not charge candidates for our services, including registering, being considered for a role or being placed. We are paid by facilities.

No guarantee of work. Submitting a profile or resume does not create an employment relationship with us or with any facility, and we do not promise that you will be offered an interview, a job or any particular pay, hours or start date. Any placement or employment depends on the needs of facilities, your qualifications and the terms of a separate written offer or agreement.

Your agreement before sharing. We will not present your profile to a facility without your agreement for that role or facility.

Accurate information. You must give us information that is true, complete and current, including your registration status, credentials, work history and eligibility to work. You must tell us promptly of any change, including a change to your registration, conditions on your practice or any discipline. You confirm that you have permission to give us your referees' contact details. Giving false or misleading information may end our work with you.

4. For facilities

A request submitted on this site is an enquiry only. It is not a binding order and it does not create a staffing engagement. Any engagement, including fees, conversion or direct hire terms, availability and replacement, is governed by a separate written service agreement between the facility and Reach Networks Inc. If anything in these Terms conflicts with a signed service agreement, the service agreement applies. The facility remains responsible for orientation, supervision, patient care and compliance with the laws that apply to its operations. Please do not include patient information or personal health information in any form or message.

5. Credentials and placements

We collect and review documents and check credentials as described on our compliance page. We do not guarantee any individual's qualifications, performance, availability or suitability for a role, and facilities remain responsible for their own hiring and clinical decisions. We do not promise placement, speed, pay rates or results.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• break any law;
• give false, misleading or someone else's information;
• impersonate another person;
• submit fake profiles or requests;
• send spam;
• use bots, scrapers or automated tools to collect data from the site;
• try to probe, test or interfere with the security or operation of the site;
• upload viruses or harmful code; or
• use the site to harass anyone.

We may suspend or end your access to the site if you break these terms or we reasonably think your use puts people or the site at risk.

7. Your information

You keep ownership of the information you give us. By submitting it, you give us permission to use, store and share it for the purposes described in our Privacy Policy, including presenting it to facilities where you have agreed. You promise you have the right to give us that information.

8. Job listings

Job listings and role descriptions on this site are for information. A listing is not an offer of employment. We may change, fill or remove a listing at any time without notice.

9. Intellectual property

The site and its content, including text, design, graphics, logos and the HealthcareRecruitment.ca name, are owned by Reach Networks Inc. or its licensors and are protected by Canadian and international law. You may view and print pages for your personal, non commercial use. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute or sell our content without our written permission.

10. Third party links and services

The site may link to websites or use services that we do not own or control. We do not endorse them and are not responsible for their content, accuracy or privacy practices. Using them is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

11. Disclaimer

We work to keep the site accurate and available, but it is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we do not make promises or warranties that the site will be error free, uninterrupted or secure, or that its content is complete or current. Nothing in these Terms removes any rights you have under law that cannot be waived.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Reach Networks Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, lost opportunities or lost data, arising from your use of the site or your reliance on its content. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim connected with the use of this site is limited to the amount, if any, that you paid us for the service connected to the claim. Candidates pay us nothing, so for candidates that amount is nil. This section does not limit liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for fraud, gross negligence or wilful misconduct, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Liability under a signed service agreement is governed by that agreement.

13. Indemnity

You agree to compensate us for reasonable losses, claims and costs (including reasonable legal fees) that we suffer because you broke these Terms, gave false information, or used the site unlawfully. We will tell you promptly about any claim and let you help respond to it where it is reasonable to do so.

14. Changes, suspension and termination

We may change these Terms or the site at any time. We will post the updated Terms with a new "Last updated" date. If you keep using the site after a change takes effect, you accept the change. For a significant change, we will make a reasonable effort to tell you, for example by email if you have given us your address. We may suspend or end your access to the site at any time if you breach these Terms. Sections that by their nature should continue (including intellectual property, disclaimer, limitation of liability, indemnity and governing law) continue after your access ends.

15. Governing law, disputes and general terms

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without regard to conflict of law rules. You and we agree that the courts of British Columbia have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute about these Terms or the site, except that either of us may seek urgent relief in any court, and nothing here limits any right you have to bring a complaint to a regulator or a claim in a court that a statute gives you. If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest continues. Our failure to enforce a part is not a waiver. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any signed service agreement, are the whole agreement between you and us about the site. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms. We may transfer ours to a successor of the business. These Terms are written in English, and we do not currently offer them in other languages.
