Who employs whom, and how terms are set
Before any assignment starts, we set out in writing how the arrangement works: who the employer or payor of record is, how pay and deductions are handled, and which employment standards of the province where the work is done apply. The facility directs the day-to-day work on site. You will never have to guess, and neither will the worker.
For the checks that happen before a placement, see our credentialing and compliance process.
Cost and rates
Staffing agencies bill facilities an hourly rate that covers the worker's pay, statutory costs and the agency's service. We quote by role, location and notice period, and we tell you the bill rate before you book. We do not publish rates here. If you later want to hire a worker permanently, we agree those terms in writing up front. For permanent roles in general, see direct hire placement.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between contract and relief staffing?
Contract staffing fills a defined stretch of time, such as a leave or an open vacancy, usually with set hours. Relief staffing fills shorter gaps such as sick calls and vacations, often booked on short notice. Exact terms differ by employer and province, so we confirm each assignment in writing.
Can an agency nurse work in any province?
Only where they are registered. Registration is provincial or territorial, so we confirm the right regulator for the work site before we send anyone. If a professional is moving between provinces, they generally register with the new regulator first, and we tell you where they are in that process.
How fast can you fill a shift?
It depends on the role, the location and how much notice you can give. Short-notice coverage in a smaller community is different from a planned leave in a large city. We tell you what is realistic when you request staff, rather than promising a time we cannot keep.
What terms apply to professionals on assignment?
Terms are explained in writing before you accept any assignment, so you know the pay, the hours and the arrangement before you commit. You can decline an assignment that does not suit you. It costs you nothing to work with us: free for candidates, always.
Can we hire the person we like permanently?
Often that is possible. Whether and how a worker moves to a permanent role is agreed in writing at the start of the arrangement, so there are no surprises later. Tell us at intake if you expect to hire from a contract, and we will build that into the terms.
